“Campaign Button Challenge” brooches in various states of completion.

Artists are taking action! Our studio building (’57 Biscayne Artist Studios) is teaming up with Movement Voter Project (MVP) to raise funds to Get Out The Vote in swing states. The painters in our building have a show on view right now, called Square Deal, a show of square 8″x8″ paintings to raise funds to benefit MVP’s “Big 5 Fund”. Jewelers can participate too, by making a one-of-a-kind campaign button!

This is your chance to make art in response to our current moment in history.  What is the most important message for 2020?  What would you want YOUR button to say?  

The sign-up period has now ended.  (If you missed out, make sure you sign up for our mailing list to receive future calls for entry!) Participating jewelers – return your entry by 8/25 with a pin finding on the back and your interpretation of the theme on the front.

Art Collectors, did you see photos of your favorite artist working on a button? Join our mailing list to be notified when the fundraiser goes live, for your chance to claim it!

The artwork will be available, first-come first-served, in exchange for a minimum $100 donation to MVP (our own unique fundraising link will be posted here when the show opens). Mark your calendars for Sept 3rd, and watch for an email announcement from us when it’s live.
